Performing an inventory is the only way to efficiently reconcile the electronic computer catalog with the physical holdings. Doing a complete inventory helps you identify lost, checked out or uncataloged items and make them available in the catalog again. It helps you identify materials that should be weeded or have been misplaced. Maintaining accurate records is also essential in order for your patrons to trust and rely on your catalog.

There is also a link to the 2017-2018 Annual Library Media Center Statistics Survey. Please review the survey to become familiar with the information required. For the 2017-2018 inventory cycle, we are requiring a full inventory and the Annual Library Media Center Statistics Survey will be due on Friday, May 25, 2018. Once the survey information has been collected and combined with the Destiny statistical information, it will be sent back to the originator and the school's principal.
In order to facilitate collected the data needed to complete the Annual Survey, we recommend that media personnel complete the LMC Program Monthly Report for either Instructional or Non-Instructional personnel at the end of each month. The monthly report is very brief and provides data to you and your administration.
