The purpose of the district instructional materials evaluation committee for non-state adopted instructional materials is to evaluate and recommend materials that may be considered for use in Miami-Dade County Public Schools.  Any committee recommendation is subject to administrative review.  The District committee will typically include representation from all curriculum departments and functional areas.  Positive recommendations should not be interpreted as an intent to purchase.

All publishers, manufacturers, or representatives submitting materials for evaluation will be required to complete the questionnaire below.  The committee will decide whether to review a product based on the responses to the questionnaire and district priorities.
